Morrie :)
Just finished watching the Charity show for the Earthquake thingy. it was really touching and i cried, the stories among the survivors were really disheartening. I'm glad that locals actually put up this show and collected over $600m :) heex and of course i did donated as well :)
i felt so pity for those kids that actually turned orphanage in just a blink cos of the disaster :(
can you imagine that all these unfortunate pple, leading a normal life on that very day of the earthquarke, never predicted that they will lost so much..... lost their dearest families :(
Recently was reading this story book by Mitch Albom: tuesdays with Morrie
learned alot from this book...
Morrie thought this: "Learn how to die, and you will learn how to live"
This is what he explained:
Most of us walk around as if we're sleepwalking. We really don't experience the world fully, because we're half asleep, doing things we automatically think we have to do.
The things you spend so much time on--all this work you do-- might not seem as important. You might have to make room for some spiritual things. We are deficient in some way. We are too involved in materialistic things, and they don't satisfy us. The loving relationship we have, the universe around us, we take these things for granted.
